• A chance for young and aspiring poets (no experience necessary, beginners welcome!) aged 7yrs to 11yrs to join a fun session enjoying their favourite poems and then creating their own with support from workshop leaders.

These are e-vouchers, but pop into the bar and we can provide you with something physical to handover

Whilst we love to encourage walk-ins and do keep a certain number of seats free for those that live life spontaneously, we do take bookings.

Please contact us via email, phone, WhatsApp, or social media to secure your space. However, please note that due to the size and nature of Basil's you may not always be seated at a table; it might be at the bar, window or low counter seating, but you'll still get the same top notch service and experience. A few further points to note:

• Groups welcome: For parties of 5 or more, we may ask for a small deposit of £10 per head. If you're more than 10 people, it's likely you'll have an area reserved as opposed to tables and a seat per person.

• Time to unwind: A busier times (weekend evenings) bookings may be limited to 2 hours, but we’ll always do our best to extend your stay elsewhere in the room if space allows.

• Running late? No worries - just give us a quick call if you’re delayed. We’ll hold your table for 15 minutes as standard otherwise.

• Change of plans? Please let us know at least a day in advance if you need to cancel or adjust your booking.
